Interview Rounds were very focussed per round. - Phone screen has usual recruiter questions. - Screen with Director and VP were more in depth about technical and managerial experience - Onsite had a Design round, Simulation round, and Managerial experience/ Behavioral round. - Lunch involved meeting and talking to a big team
What experience did I have with R&D and hardware? Basically wanted explanation of experience listed on resume. Then focused of time periods.
Did not use STAR method - Thank God! Finally a company that cares about cultural fit. Very conversational interview about work, leadership, projects, etc.
The last one before you was very talented. How do you know you won't fail?
Questions were pretty standard, with a focus on culture, style, and experience. The "project retro" was a fun exercise that covered areas of technical implementation and project execution.
They kept asking for my availability to chat about the company & position...
As described above, the technical interview required both some on-the-spot coding, and a demonstration of a personal project.
