They ask lots of situational questions. Explain a time when you had to make a difficult decision about an employee... Tell me a time when you ... etc. You need to be able to think on your feet and give good, bottom line but concrete examples of actively engaging in an HR BP role.

What inspired you to become an HRBP and what do you enjoy most about the role?
The interview with the Head of HR and the Managing Director focuses on evaluating the candidate's technical HR skills, strategic alignment, business acumen, and cultural fit. The standard "tell us about yourself" and "why do you want this job". I asked Kim specific questions about the work place culture and what type of innovate work the team has done the past year and she was drew blank. Definitely would not recommend if you value your work-life balance.
