The questions were more philosophical. I am with strong credentials and was actually taking a step down in positions (I was formerly a Sr Manager over three teams that consisted of 60+ employees, to being a Lead/individual contributor. This was fine as that is what I wanted during that part in my career. As someone who has interviewed 500+ potential candidates in my career, I knew what they were thinking so I actually led the interview and told them what I assumed they wanted to know.
What experiences have prepared you for the role of Senior QA Automation Engineer?
In 1st Technical Round They ask me to introduce myself, asked me about the profile whether am aware or not, asked me about my favorite subject and here started the real interview. They asked me about SDLC, software models, different between then tried to confuse me on that, then difference between Verification and Validation Testing types and all related to software Engg.
Next he asked me about CMMI and ISO levels.
Sir, asked me to give example on polymorphism, normal forms in database etc and technical round went about 45 minutes
