Recently, I had an interview for a QA Manager position, and the overall experience was very sad. The first question was: How much is my salary expectation? The second question was: which community do I belong to? Am I from South India? Are those really questions to start with the interview? And later, he asked very superficial interview questions and was rejected, saying Techincaly was not fit. What kind of hiring is this?
Each technical rounds Java code on String and Array manipulation were asked. Web and API framework level questions were asked. Docker/ QA Operations were asked. Shift left and Testing Pyramids. Evaluated on the people, conflict and Agile Management skills.

Usually questions about test process, team that I handled etc. Challenges faced , Issues resolved etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. No technical questions. One dev manager on the panel had certain question that he thought had the right answers in his head and wanted to hear that. It felt quite immature. Rest of the panel were ok. Made me feel comfortable.
