I cannot remember the specifics. I believe I was asked where I saw myself in 5 yrs. Majority of the interview was casual conversation about similar hobbies and interests as the manager (interviewer) got a feel for how well I would fit.
Why Nordstroms? Why are you interested in finance?
Behavioral questions. Nothing too specific. I have a greater background other than accounting, which probably turned them away.
What's a conflict you've had at work and how did you resolve it
How would you handle it if a project you had been working on for some time had was abruptly cancelled?
Mostly behavioral. One technical was: What are some considerations when you have a large pressure drop in a system?
Most of these very conversational, asking me to tell them about myself, why I think I’d be a good fit for the role, why CIBC, etc.
