Note: All interview questions were Automation related, but the current position is for a Manual Tester(this was mentioned in the end). Why does a person has to have experience in Mobile Automation and ETL Testing if the vacancy is for a Manual tester ?

After telephonic round had face to face round. There were questions on background, behavioral type questions, finance related questions, test scenarios, SQL and QA process. Some interview questions Give me test cases to test below scenarios -Purchase of 100 IBM shares for $10 at 4.00 PM pacific time -Test if a cash recon is generated if the cash difference is more than 2% - As per business rules validate that prices of XYZ shares are picked from right file assuming that we are getting the prices from 4 sources and and at different time SQL -Suppose if DB has values like 123456 and some blank space and if we want to retrieve the exact value from DB ignoring the blank space, how can we do so -Joint queries Some more questions How do you handle HTTPS websites Difference between equity and preferred stocks Difference between Mortgage backed bonds and co-operate bonds Why MyVest What have you contributed in your previous projects
