In the task/challenge interview I was asked to put together a bug report. I was asked to explain my reasoning and thought process and why I chose to prioritize certain bugs. I enjoyed the challenge because, although it was straightforward, it was also slightly ambiguous, to see how I would deal with unclear situations. The entire hiring team was excellent. They were helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout the entire process. This gave me a really good insight into the culture of the company. My entire experience was extremely positive.
How do you to handle working in an ambiguous environment?

general interview questions regarding professional experiences and history. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Inspite of having long conversations with the interviewers in two separate meetings over a course of two weeks, they were not clear on what role they wanted to hire me for. They asked basic questions on social media and though I cleared my own credentials, they looked confused.
Classical questions about project management, stakeholders management, operations management in SAP BI/Financial area. A couple of specific questions in the FI area. I found the interview ok, it was quite pleasant and I felt decent attitude from hiring manager. General comment: I believe I have all the range of skills and the experience to cover the position without issues (I covered and I am covering very similar positions since many years). I know that you can always find someone better and my performance during the interview was decent but not outstanding. Anyway I admit I would have expected to be invited for a second round, so I was a bit disappointed. As general feedback I would say my experience was ok.
