Unfortunately, they were quite inflexible with availability, offering limited time slots that were hard to accommodate. Despite adjusting my schedule and patiently waiting for weeks, the communication from their HR team completely dropped off. No follow-up, no updates — just radio silence. It's disappointing to see this level of unprofessionalism, especially after investing time and effort into their process. A simple update or closure would have gone a long way. Hope they improve their candidate experience and treat applicants with more transparency and respect.

Second Round - 3 interviewers(individual contributor, manager, product owner) - Design problem, you are given a table and requirement table name department id title manager_id parent_id requirements 1- department can be changed only by its direct manager or the manager of the department which is hierarichal above this department Here the manager of department can be manager to multiple different departments. 2- child department cannot be changed to root department and root department cannot be changed to child department. Root department is one which does not have any parent_id i.e. null. Child department is any department having parent_id as not null. 3- change of parent of a department to new parent, requires that new parent is hierarchical to this department write code to implement this validation in the IDE presented.
