Mostly questions related to personal work history, followed by a "how did you handle this" series of event-specific situational questions that evaluated personality, etc.
They said I looked great and asked me when I could do a short phone interview.
What is the most difficult thing you've encountered in your previous work
I was presented with a stack of one dollar bills and told to sort them, with no further explanation.
1. How many years experience do you have in (several different applicable areas of expertise)? 2. Are you comfortable working in a virtual environment? 3. Do you have any experience working in a virtual environment? 4. What part of your experience applied to software writing? 5. What part of your experience applied to other types of writing.
My favorite question was an open-ended question. My interviewer asked how I would go about designing documentation that is actually useful for the customer and end-user.
We're having X technical problem with our test rig. How would you solve it?
