I come from a consulting background and ran my own business for almost 10 years before deciding to return to full time work, and one of the interviewers asked if I could handle coming into a regular workplace after working on my own for so long because "my husband tried it and he had a really hard time" and "you can't just say 'it's Tuesday, so I don't feel like coming into work today.'"
They inquired about portfolio projects and what the process was.
Just be ready to talk about your experience and knowledge as a designer.
They were basic design interview questions. Wanted to know what's your design process, have you worked in a team environment, do you have experience in adaptive design and etc..
