Design question Payments Compliance Engine AWS operates more than 245 countries and territories around the globe. Online payments data is highly regulated by compliance rules enforced by regulations differently in each country. Those regulation vary with different regulations which involves executing different set of processing in order to make payments compliant in certain countries and territories. Design end to end payments system which could be compliant with different local regulations. Compliance Rules : 1. Certain payment methods available only in EMEA regions. 2. AWS can only store payment method data short amount of time. 3. A country have a regulation to use only the cards issued in the country and block usage of other cards. Additional rules : 1.
