The project and team are excellent. Community engagement.

Cons

Very poor upper management - Extreme lack of experience, and they lie. Fire people with 0 warning, no reason and deletes them within the minute so they can't say their goodbyes. Happened countless times. Crunch is very common No benefits of any kind. Just standard pay rates. Can't take feedback or criticism of any kind. Keeps staff in the dark.

Pay is decent although they lowball based on location being a remote studio

Cons

Toxic work culture. They hire many top talented people and fire them for very little to no reason. And well, yeah look at Summer Games Fest announcing the game to get an idea what type of person is running the company… Another con is they will easily end up having you do many roles or multiple people’s jobs outside your job description but no raise or title increase. Another con is no benefits of any kind, not even hardware or support

Some extremely talented folks working here. Flexibility of remote is nice. Base pay can be decent if negotiated correctly.

Cons

No direction. Benefits are a joke. Crunch is seen as a positive. No company hardware. People just disappear. Zero leadership accountability. Very culty.
