Pros
Had an opportunity to pick up classes at other AFF only if recommended. Once that happens it opens the door to more than you want day and night. They said they had an employee handbook.......never got one.
Cons
I was offered many hours to work at AFF ..until they found out I was black and then the tone was not so gracious. I worked almost 2yrs with them .I had full classes and they were all over booked , Had great difficulty getting new clean equipment although the equipment was old and not enough. Class growing and finally after 6-8months new equipment was purchased.No one put a cap on full classes. I dont feel that should be my job...i was only there to teach classes and did not feel i was being paid for my job..i felt i was volunteering. I felt underappreciated by the Job but I loved my participants and they deserved more.
