      Annoying Hours But Good Pay

      Pay is very fair, ability to make a lot more than base salary, job is relatively easy once you know what you're doing, opportunity to build relationships with members

      Cons

      lots of customer assistance/complaints, inconsistent/unclear company policies, no training materials or reference materials, work on weekends and evenings, work/life balance, little room for advancement, management differs from club to club

      Pros

      To start, location matters because my experience pertains to the Midlothian location. Every branch is different and so will the experience for each person. The biggest pro to working for a company like AFF is the ability to climb the management ladder because they will internally promote before hiring from outside. -Free membership -Great management -Friendly members -Flexible hours for all positions -Pay (varies when you are part time or full time) -Ability to grow and learn new skills

      Cons

      -Pay can be a big factor between full time and part time staff. The pay in said departments can be on the low end when it comes to the manual labor side (cleaning & cafe) Personal trainers are the best paid position for part time.
