A dying company

Pros

Still has a high number of intelligent people.

Cons

The new management has systematically destroyed its culture which made it a success. After several years of poor performance, the senior management used it an excuse to take over the company through giving promotion to those who came from the parent company, but either denying promotion or laying off people who spoke against the management. The problem lays in the problems in the senior management, not the intelligent people who are trying to make it a better place.

Pros

Still a nice place to work. Good compensation. Nice location and the employees for the most part are very nice.

Cons

Some recent layoffs. The place changed a lot in the past several years. The structure switched from mostly flat to a pyramid.
