Pros

This review may be a little premature as I've only just finished my first week but the first impression was that good I felt compelled to leave this review. I've honestly never feel such a warm welcome from a work team who have been a constant support and the management has been the best I've had at a job already. As far as I can tell, AXA hold their values very highly and not the typical lip service I had from previous roles. Progression is not only available for those that want it but encouraged to pursue, again unlike my previous roles were you were road blocked into your role due to demand. I've had a taste of what I am expected for my role here at AXA and I honestly can't say I've ever looked forward to a Monday before until today and I just know I'm going to love this job. * Flex time * Hybrid working * Supportive environment * State of the art refurbished office with all the typical amenities such as free brew machines (good coffee too unlike the usual liquid mud other offices provide).

Cons

Only negative which to be honest is only temporary is that I've taken a £4000 pay cut for this position. The entry level wage is a little lower than market average but again, my plan is to stick around and progress.

Pros

Some really good people but all leaving

Cons

- Incompetent people who mismanage and are responsible for the failure of huge programmes, are subsequently rewarded as long as they suck up - A long history of middle management people presenting other people's work up the chain with no acknowledgment of the teams who actually did it - Good people join digital/technology leave within 2-3 years because nothing meaningful can be achieved - Culture of bullying / harassment if you present healthy challenge and debate
