No longer a good place to work since the new CEO came on
Pros
Used to be closely aligned with Accenture values and culture. Good, smart people to work with and learn from. Great benefits and salaries. Lots of jobs available, if you can find something in your area of expertise. The company does seem to want do good work with charities.
Cons
No longer closely aligned to Accenture LLP -- it's just like any other beltway bandit now. They've taken on the culture of the companies they've purchased and put many of those people in leadership positions. No one can figure that out. Leadership is weak and ineffectual. Lots of them are nasty people. Went from excellent raises and bonuses until FY24, when there was hardly anything. Depends on how your department is organized. My "supervisor" knows nothing about what I do other than speaking to me once a month so how can they write my yearly review? "People Lead" program is lip service -- never talked about anything meaningful with my lead; the person I led didn't care to meet so I never was able to get to know them and provide meaningful feedback. Way too top-heavy -- Four or five "Accenture Leadership" and multiple "Senior Managers" will be on calls and never provide anything to the project. Bad culture of leadership not getting things done because they were "too busy." Dismantled once-great DEI programs. On an all hands meeting, to get employees to come into the office, the CEO had the nerve to say his greatest memories were working in the office after hours on emergency projects gorging on Taco Bell. Tells you what he thinks about work/life balance and family.
