Pros

Excellent oppourtunity for travel, after a while you can operte as a contrctor with the safety net of working for a large company, i.e. use relationships to pick and choose where you work...

Cons

Some of the middle management are less than inspiring and thry seem to have become desperate to recruit recently so the calibre of experiences hires is also not great.

Pros

Generally smart people work here.

Cons

Manager level is very weak. Many don't know what they're doing, esp. true for outside hires. Promotion process is based on relationship with your PM, not really merit Very cuthroat competition. you won't make a lot of good friends here consultants don't really get treated any better than analyst level horrible admin tools (t&e), travel, etc
