      Good company, amazing product and sale teams, huge technical debt

      Pros

      Work life balance A lot of nationalities Huge payment volume New CTO seems to have a better vision about the area (microservices, new technologies, better career path, positioning the tech team as a key player).

      Cons

      The technology is from another century: tomcat + Java + postgres to process more than 1k payments per second, all in-house and lack of clear ideas to change it. There are too many differences between tech teams (way of working, team lead skills, challenges, etc)

      - Get to work with so many smart people - Constantly work with cross cultural teams and people - It doesn’t take long to get involved/add value - People are willing to listen - No drama (ego) - The future is bright - Working on our carbon footprint from a sustainability perspective is actively pursued at all levels

      Cons

      - There is concern with flexibility around remote work post-COVID - Not so many benefits for now (but there are positive discussions around this)
