Great people, inclusive culture and

Pros

Formulas are practiced in the company and taken literally. A very inclusive and diverse culture, my first weeks were people walking up to me to introduce themselves and always seem really happy to share their experiences and ideas. Lunches were sitting with and mingling with people across different teams and functions. Adyen has an extremely flat hierarchy so you will have to find and pave your own career here, but at the same time because of the flat hierarchy you'll find people here alot more approachable. There's never a "wrong" or "silly idea" and you are empowered to move your career the direction you want. The culture here allows you to start new projects and initiatives here more easily compared. Definitely a great place for people who enjoy taking ownership and self empowered here.

Cons

It's not a culture for everyone, be prepared to speak your mind (there is no wrong answers here)

Pros

-tons of opportunity to travel (outside of COVID obviously!) -amazing group of people who really enjoy working together -have always felt like i can pick and choose how i spend my days as long as my projects have tangible business impact -a lot of energy working across teams -while we have a lot of new managers who need to gain experience, in general managers care about their teams and are there as a resource -feels like somewhere i can grow a career (even without switching teams i see my role fundamentally evolve year over year)

Cons

-working across cultures and timezones is always tricky and can be draining on your personal life if you don't set boundaries -security is a top priority so it limits what internal tools we can use (not a huge con but more of an annoyance)
