Pros

I genuinely appreciated the openness and the autonomy to make decisions in a new office - lean in on experience from the industry. This company has very smart people to work with which really makes you to do better day in day out. A culture where you own your growth, people value the contributions and mostly when you challenge the status quo. Of course it is not realistically possible that things go your way however, if you want to polish your personality and get better in whatever you are doing - THE PLACE

Cons

Depends on your role and contributions - I honestly felt I was contributing to the success in India and there was value. This place is not for everyone - you cant get away with doing bare minimum or not contributing. The bar is very high !!

Pros

Business Impact - Despite being a regional office, the work we do and the merchants we work with are at global scale. We have plenty of opportunities to work with the "big logos" that you can see from Adyen official website, as local implementation engineers are needed to help with their regional rollout. Growth - Knowledge wise, working at Adyen as a implementation engineer, really helps you equip industry knowledge fast, as Adyen has not only the online payment solutions, but also the offline payments solution and the white labelled payment solutions for platforms. Working here for a couple of years will equip you with solid understanding about the payment industry, and the payment eco system. Managers - The managers (at least the ones I worked with) are open to conversations, and you can let them know anytime if you want to work on projects that help you expand your skillsets. Managers also care a lot of about well-beings, and they are willing to work with you to reduce workload if things are really too overwhelming. Internal Mobility - Company is also open to internal mobility opportunities. If your long-term career aspirations is in another business function, or in another country. The managers are usually willing to help you make that happen, as long as that fit the other team's or office's business goals. WLB - It really depends on the merchants you work with, sometimes it could be tough before critical go-lives. You might also need to join occasional evening calls as the person who could help you work in Amsterdam. Anyway, I would not complain much about WLB. Company respects after work hours.

Cons

No bonus for most non commercial roles

Pros

Good product, great logo if you want a career in payment, good work life balance

Cons

The high growth Adyen has seen in the past has meant that some of the most uninspiring professionals are now in leadership positions thanks for being at the right place at the right time. You can try your luck, some leaders are great. If that doesn’t go well, you can use it as a stepping stone for your career in payments
