Pros

Recently introduced a new benefit that gives an additional $ amount every month regardless of performance and tenure.

Cons

Office first culture. Recently introduced guidance for minimum 3x a week with one of the days being monday or friday. Don't even try to hope that you may be able to work here and then become remote later after being a high performer and tenured. Exceptions are rarely given.

Pros

-Free lunch and snacks -WLB (if you don't work in an operational role) -Friendly, smart colleagues -Many learning resources on payment industry -Good long term strategy

Cons

-Inexperienced team leads: not having the domain knowledge to guide the team; not having the skills to mentor new members; not having/caring about DEI. -Very political: you get recognized and promoted if you build the right friendship, and/or not belong to the minority group. This makes me sad as the company has lots of DEI initiatives, yet those are more on-paper projects, not applied to real practice. -No clear career growth and little career support: you are asked to "own your career", which means: play politics. Due to inexperienced team leads/managers, and non-existing HR partners, you receive little support and coaching on next steps. Even if they do, these next steps should fit in their "agenda", or else.... -Underpaid

Pros

If you like traveling, that’s pretty much what you’ll be doing all the time. Compensation is competitive.

Cons

Personal-professional balance doesn’t exist at this company. Fast-growing company, that handles HR remotely from Amsterdam with professionals that don’t know the first thing about work law or current legislation. If you have a disagreement you better be seated. They try to have this “cool” Silicon Valley like, culture, but they get lost half way.
