Pros

Aerotek provides an opportunity to make very good money with a commission structure that is absolutely attainable with hard work and perseverance. There is a strong teamwork atmosphere and co-workers are fun to work with, but also great at pushing you to your highest level. Working here gives you a great networking opportunity with companies and people in your area as well as many chances at community outreach.

Cons

As stated before, to be successful will take hard work and that can mean long hours in the office to get the job done. With most sales roles, there are difficult but reachable numbers goals that are expected to be hit every week. Co-workers aren't afraid to point out areas for constructive criticism in order to help you get to the next level.

Pros

I started with Aerotek directly out of college and have had nothing but a great experience with the company. I truly feel valued with the company and have learned so much from management and everyone else that is in the company. I wouldn't trade my experience I have had for anything.

Cons

You do work a lot of hours but the reward is worth it. If you are looking for an 8-5 job this is not it. This will require long hours at times.

Pros

Some of the reasons why you should work at the Aerotek office in Omaha, NE: 1. Fun group of motivated individuals. 2. Everyone works as a team but you also get rewarded for the work that YOU do, if you put in the work upfront then you will be rewarded financially versus everyone getting the same paycheck. 3. Good work environment, get to listen to the radio while working and talk with other recruiters throughout the day, not a place where you have to be quiet all day. 4. Managers are always looking out for your success; they push you to get the most out of you from 8-5 so that you can go home and be with your family, very accountable company. 5. They really put the client first, every conversation around goals and tasks to complete before you leave for the day revolve around the promises that they made to their clients. Will do what it takes to get the job done. 6. Your boss has held your position. The managers have all recruited and help support you in making sure that you are successful in your role. 7. They do group bonding events to get to know each other better and on a more personal level every quarter. Events like bowling, cook outs, playing games, etc. They want to include your significant other at most of the outings which is nice for everyone. 8. You can create your next role within the company. I've seen it done. Work hard and prove that there is a need for a certain position and make it your own. This is not a company that only promotes the most senior employee. I've seen people who have been with the company get promoted and get pay increases before someone who has been with the company for 5 years. 9. Great training for recruiters. One on one time to learn the software systems and role play certain phone conversations that you will run into while recruiting.

Cons

Some of the challenges include: 1. They push you out of your comfort zone, don't expect to slide through the day without hitting a goal that you personally set for yourself. 2. One of the company values is to have fun at work, if you are not having fun in your career, expect other to notice and confront you on this. They are always wanting to make sure that you are there for the right reasons, this is not just a job, it's a career.
