Pros

I bonded with the others who were miserable.

Cons

Everything else. This company is great at creating insecurity and fear. If you want collaboration, teamwork, and trust in a job, please avoid. There’s nothing motivating about having to stand at the front of the office and get grilled with questions from every employee on why you didn’t hit your goal, even though you worked 80 hours that week and came in on a Saturday. Oh but don’t worry - they treated us to pizzas! The Madison DBO is only interested in leading through fear tactics, constant threat, and manipulation. On the other hand, if you love receiving threatening/defaming emails, this job is for you. There are favorites and it is made evident. Leadership will do anything for those favorites, and run over anyone else in their path to do so. Leaving this place felt like leaving a cult, it is completely toxic. I wanted to make this review to save others from going through the absolute trauma that I went through.

Pros

Good training for recruiters, time passes fast when at job, met alot of people and made connections, can be promoted fast, opportunity to make commission, lunches and meals with people you have placed into jobs can be expensed

Cons

Cult like culture, long hours in office, have to be available always for calls and extra work and work on weekends, low starting pay, little room for advancement if you do not want to be in sales. High turnover. Management cares and asks too much about peoples personal lives, often leads to manipulative and toxic conversations. Most managers are micromanagers and don't walk the walk. Recruiters and admins get the brunt end of things. Little accountability for account managers and senior staff

Pros

You can make a lot of money and everyone you work with is from an ex-sorority or frat

Cons

There are a variety of cons, I'll highlight some below: 1) managers and directors don't actually care about you. They may act like they do, but they are only in it to make money. 2) work-life balance is not a thing in Aerotek culture. Ask an executive or director and you'll find out. 3) metrics are everything. It wasn't always like this, but now metrics are displayed for the entire office to see. If you aren't meeting them, everyone will know and you will be shamed. 4) personal or professional development. Aerotek will tell you they want to develop you professionally and personally, but they will provide no resources for you to reach the goals they expect you to obtain. 5) management/directors will praise how much you're making a difference in people's lives. In reality, recruiting/staffing is slowing down the pay/advancement for blue collar workers who don't have the education you have. With staffing, companies don't need to pay liveable wages, because the staffing firm will appease the client to no ends with another candidate. In turn, you'll be stuck working till 7pm (or better yet, work weekends) to find another minimum wage worker for a crappy client. 6) if you are looking to begin a career, don't be sucked in. Aerotek preys on unsuspecting college graduates looking to begin a "career in business", in turn working you until you're burnt out and inevitably leave for a more appreciative company.
