      Messy company struggling to meet quality and demand

      Pros

      - It's a great place for students to start and get into the industry - Some people genuinely care about you

      Cons

      - The people that really want to make it better are getting exhausted and keep on leaving - Low standards when it comes to hiring - Struggling to hire seniors and to keep them - Majority of the employees are junior - So many projects coming in with no one to actually go on it - The majority of groom artist want to do character art which leads to toxic behavior - Crunch seems to be a regular thing and depending on the project that can be a lot of extra time. - The benefits aren't great, talk about private health insurance has been going around for a year with still no result - Extremely high turn over rate - A lot of people are burned out, they don't seem to care and are telling us we have to just get on with work - Blame is regularly placed on the artists when something goes wrong even when its not our fault - You hop on and off projects so quickly that you barely have time to learn what to do - So many people unhappy and it makes it really hard to enjoy work

Our overtime policy states that any additional time worked is compensated for and requires prior approval, with consideration for the necessity of completing extra hours and the wellbeing of the employee, and we do not, and never have had a ‘crunch culture.’ We absolutely do care about our employees and wellbeing is at the forefront of everything we do here at Airship, so we are saddened to hear that your experience wasn’t in line with how we want our employees to feel when they are a member of our crew.       Pros

      Nice people and lots of projects to choose You will learn how to do proper hairs. You can work from home and have core hours Your name will appear on lots of AAA titles Annoying people is not working there anymore Improving the culture and growing making people participate on contests. Free milk and tea. Muffin-lovers and cake-makers bring joy at the office.

      Cons

      Distant management hard to reach when something important is popping up. Too much promises that they can't keep. IT issues are poorly solved You can be left to root in the same project or similar tasks for a long time. Some NDA's are kept even after games launched so very few artists can show airship stuff in portfolios. Some people with fixed term contracts of just 3 months won't move at the new headquarters in Manchester, that's a silly idea. Good mates saying goodbyes
