Pros

Plenty of locations throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, offering a lot of opportunity. Various locations in North America have R&D functions, rather than a large, localized center, which is convenient if you're looking to move to a new location for a new position. The Columbus site is quite old, but they're looking to improve the production and lab facilities. Managers are great and team members are knowledgeable. Company has a strong commitment to safety and sustainability. Lots of interesting projects going on at the Global level.

Cons

While there is a lot of room for growth within AkzoNobel, certain locations (particularly Europe) have much more opportunity. This isn't surprising, given the company headquarters is in Amsterdam, but it demands mobility from employees. Particularly roles that require you to work on site such as R&D professionals.
