Pros

AkzoNobel has built a portfolio of businesses that generally operate in a 1-3 market position. You'll work for strong brands (stronger in Europe) and have the opportunity to grow professionally if not vertically. Some businesses feel regional and some feel global, you may like one or the other.

Cons

AkzoNobel hasn't yet leveraged is global size so some businesses are behind in their functional capabilities. Businesses can be slow to reach to market trends. The IT infrastructure and capability is far behind industry leaders.
