Pros

The benefits are good. You learn a lot about the personal care industry. I learned how to use various analytical instrumentation. Emphasis is on safety.

Cons

It's a 24 hour facility. 12 hour swing shifts. It's a life adjuster. You are able to get time off.

Nice people, boring work.

Pros

The people were nice and most of them were intelligent. The pay and benefits were great and there was a lot of opportunity to move up in the same division or across the company to a different division. Work-life balance was in check, however I did not work there long enough to get a lot of responsibility so that could easily change.

Cons

The management I worked for did not communicate well among themselves. Too many bosses with too many ideas and it was hard to keep everyone on the same page. Chemists did not work closely with technicians to understand the problems with the coatings that were being egineered.
