Pros

Progressive salary increases, travel allowance or contribution towards your own car insurance.

Cons

Useless middle management doing all the dirty job, at a certain stage of your career you come to realise that there are so many hindrances, which cannot be overcome, that you start behaving like most of the staff there. Backstabbing and leaving colleagues to deal with your own workload so that targets can be reached become the norm after a while working there and nobody seems to care much about it. Bullying is a daily activity you are subjected to and HR seem to be well aware of it, but prefer to turn a blind eye as they are too busy making sure that you are wearing the right shoes, that your skirt is long enough for a business environment and so on. Team leaders in my department used to go around the office to make sure that everybody was wearing business clothes.

Pros

VHI (not fully paid by company), travel expenses, honestly can't think of any more pros

Cons

Micromanaged, TLs watching every move you do, you only have 2 breaks when working 8:00 to 17:30 (sometimes longer), first break at 10:00 for 5 minutes and second break at 15:00 for 10 minutes, lunch is only 30 minutes, work load is too much and managers keep sending you pointless emails which adds to the stress

Pros

Promotions depends on how close you are with management (mainly irish who promoted around 90%) instead of performance. Officers are happy that CEO is having boss now so can not act like the Egyptian Pharaoh.

Cons

There is loads of intimidation in the helpline. Loads of officers were pushed to leave because of their personalities. Manager feels insecure and tries to control the officets mentality. Manager asks HL team leader to do their dirty work and always pressurises the officers. There are flagged people to be pushed to leave.
