Growing Compay

Business Outlook

Pros

Lots of opportunity, leveraging the Global Organisation. The Management really are trying their best in a tough industry. The company will continue to grow, and so will the opportunities for the team who are prepared to stay on for the ride.

Cons

Most project managers are running 150%. It can be challenging to keep on top of the work load, but the success is rewarding. The salaries are under market rate, which makes it hard to recruit and keep people. AMOS are stuck in 1980.

So good to hear your perspective on our sister business unit in Australia! From our perspective in Richmond, Virginia, USA, we agree that we're able to leverage initiatives and opportunities with the global organization, both Allianz Worldwide Partners (out of Paris) and Allianz (out of Munich).

Pros

Good company well know all around the world, possibility to progress if you know how to chose your friends and best buddies.

Cons

If you are not part of certain groups, they will always fins excuses not to let you progress or express yourselves, some people were really nice but you need a lot of connection to be seen, spent a while working there no matter how hard I worked there was no progression not even a plan to do so, management gang up with HR against employees to be able to control and monitor or decide on their progression.

Lost in politics and career death trap

Pros

Reasonable pay package if you are there for a while

Cons

The political struggle among management in the company is at historical level. The corporate culture has reduced to favoritism and backstabbing. The management and employees are in opposite camps, instead of working towards the same goal. The company is going through some major changes, however few events had employees involved, informed and included. Communication in the company is the worst of its kind due to sheer arrogance of the management. Employees are always kept in the dark till the very last minute. What worst is that in reality development plan/reviews do not get implemented, hence professional development is most likely left in a death trap.

Thank-you for your feedback. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your comments or perhaps you can do so with your HR Business Partner? The company does not tolerate the behaviours you describe and we invest considerably in management development and all leaders are measured on key behavioural attributes.
