Pros

I truly enjoyed the people I worked with.

Cons

This is not really HR. As a BP in customer fulfillment, the work is very admin.

Pros

You can make connections anywhere you go, so it's no surprise there are still good people at Amazon. They will just be drowning with you, so at least you have something to bond over.

Cons

They get people here because of the name, because there are 10 other people wanting to take the job for "Amazon". You are just a number and you are easily replaced, no matter how hard they try to convince you otherwise. Good luck making any true changes or giving feedback when they start to directly screw you over, they have 7 managers in between the people who made the calls and your manager who are going to tow the line for them so they never even have to talk/see the people their decisions are impacting. You can get paid better somewhere else and it's not worth your mental and physical wellbeing to work here. Even if you feel like it's really cool you got a job offer from the big "Amazon".
