Pros

This job offers great benefits and a schedule that is the same week to week. If there is mandatory overtime, the start and end of shift is only a half hour earlier than your usual shift start and and end time.

Cons

Lack of mobility, favoritism, your co-workers are often really awful people, your managers are often the scum of the earth. Once you reach a certain point with raises, you top out and no longer receive them. It also seems like a very thankless job. I do quite a lot of work that warrants quite a bit more pay.

Pros

Paid time off. Managers listen to you gripe but dont do crap about the problems.(con)

Cons

Problem solvers should be paid more for the amount of stress they go through and the bullcrap managers make them do.
