Pros

- work-life balance - stability - opportunity to move inside the company

Cons

- diversity and inclusion only in leadership speach, micro-aggressions are part of day-to-day - no bonus, benefits bellow market standards - promotions are bureaucratic and depend on networking more than performance - people are not really brilliant or inspiring

Pros

Payment Amazon Stocks participation Culture Home Office (3 days per week) Leadership Principles really work inside the company Leaders are humble and open to talk

Cons

I didn't face any bad sides yet. As any company in the world, bad things may happen, but overall Amazon strives to be the best employer of the world.

Pros

- Good compensation - Well known company (people will ask you) - Plenty of time to prepare (3 months) before your first line of code

Cons

- I don't fell motivated (< 3 months doing my Embark stuff) - You will work with many legacy systems - Don't expect to see geniuses. Amazon is a company that hires many people, and the hiring bar isn't as high as they say - In the contract you will work more than 40 hours per week. 9 am to 6:48 pm + 1 hour for lunch. Total per week: 44 hours - After the pandemic, everyone will need to return to the office. That is part of Amazon culture
