Pros

-Easy hiring process. -The opportunities for employee feedback seemed promising. Did not see many implemented. -Voluntary time off offered. -Starting rate was decent for the area, especially with a benefits package offered. -Vacation time/unpaid time was readily available from day 1 to be used when needed. -Casual dress code.

Cons

-Get placed in a random department upon hire with no preference offered. Must wait 90 day period to request department change. -Little to no manager oversight. -Little to no practical training. -Conflicting instructions about how to handle any given situation. -Constant mechanical issues interrupted work flow. -Rates that employees were expected to accomplish were unrealistic. -Necessary resources (boxes, tape, etc.) not readily available at the start of each shift. -Restrooms a mile away from work stations in certain areas. -Shifts were changed arbitrarily with very little notice, sometimes less than 24 hrs. -Mandatory overtime could result in 60+ hr work weeks, including 12 hr days. -Break scheduling was extremely strict, if late (even by a minute) time off was automatically deducted by the hour. -No headphones allowed on the work floor. -Work extremely repetitive and mundane, with little opportunity for advancement or recognition. -Almost constant issues with punch times being recorded incorrectly. -HR was not very helpful or organized. -Lunch room and smoking areas are too small to accommodate the amount of employees that go to break simultaneously. -Too few clock in machines to realistically support workforce punching in at the same time. -Lockers are tiny, hardly big enough for the average purse. -Parking lot was a nightmare.
