      Pros

      The company has become very lean (compared to what it used to be) so you are able to get experience in things normally reserved for upper positions. It makes you very marketable once you leave.

      Cons

      The company could afford to be as lean as it is if the workload was spread evenly across employees. Instead, you have 85% of the people doing the work they used to do (when there was double the amount of people employed) and the other 15% picking up the slack. Everything is about the stock price, so you are not valued as an employee. Prepare to earn your bonus by hitting your targets but have them not pay out. Also, I was told by my boss there are not yearly pay raises anymore - you have to be promoted to get an increase in pay.

      Some good beers. No Pros after the takeover.

      Cons

      They will not rehire you even if you were eliminated due to your department being deleted. They would rather hire youth for a sack lunch than retain talent.
