      * I worked for ABI for 12 Years in various roles in Management positions in various departments. Sales, Finance, Data, IT, Projects, Sales - On and off Trade, list goes on and on and left on a positive note so no bitter feelings ........ But I advised any young graduates thinking of ABI ....DO NOT WORK THERE....get your experience elsewhere * ABI has a boss Brito ( or Brillo Pad as we called him) He cares for shareholders and profits.... you are warned..... * If you are thinking of working here......be sensible and only use the company for 2 years max as a graduate...no longer......get experience elsewhere

      Bullied by the manager

      Pros

      Most people are nice, you get free beer.

      Cons

      There is a very low level of professionalism and a complete lack of organization which leads to micromanagement . However, this often degenerates into proper bullying. It doesn't help that managers are usually promoted based on office politics and not skills. Targets are high, nothing too special really but work life balance takes a hit, especially considering that teams are almost always understaffed (it's a conscious decision of the company).

      Pros

      The middle line of management in my team are supportive and helpful.

      Cons

      The recruitment strategy was absolutely poor. Rather than hiring the employee for their skill-set or interests, they have shoehorned the individual into a role for which they have little flair. When asked about it, they claim that is the deliberate policy of the GCC organization to put the employee in a high pressure situation, to see whether they sink or swim. This plays with the mental health of the employee.
