      Pros

      People in Aperam are skilled and trustworthy which makes it an incredible experience to work here. The leadership is pretty clear and you usually know what you need to do without having to ask your manager. Management by trust: you will soon have decent responsibility to prove yourself. If you are doing good, your work will be compensated. A lot of new hirings who "refresh" the offices. There are a lot of great managers in Aperam.

      Still some processes that need actualization/update, coming from "old industry" (some HR/communication related processes)

      Not a great place to learn much about business & management skills. Great if you want to balance work & life.

      Pros

      No high workload, lots of paid vacations

      Cons

      No clear strategy, no internal communication (everyone works in siloes and is fine with that), very few management skills in top leadership, very few progress to expect in benefits and in career. Evolution is mainly crossfunctional, very few promotion as the main workforce is about 45 years old and trust the "confortable" seats.

      Aperam has for 2 years strong financial results thanks to a complete re-organization of its operations. The net debt is rapidly going down. Very strong experts

      Aperam is a regional producer (Europe and South America) in a global competitive landscape.
