Pros

There are no pros that I can think of.

Cons

They treat there employees like they are slaves working in a sweat shop sometimes where employees are forced to work weekends or work 24 hours in a row. The President of the SC Group (Petrogas Group Sc LLC) favors those employees from Ireland. The tactic the Controller uses scare tactics threatening to fire employees if they don't focus and meet deadlines or she just yells at you in front of others. There is no professionalism here. Staff will stab you in the back just to make them less of a target for upper management. At times, I saw sensitive employee medical information just lying around for others to look through.

Pros

Benefits for full time employment

Cons

Hostile work environment on supervisory level. It seems the area supervisors believe being threatening & hostile will motivate an $8.00 a hour worker more than being open & easily approached. New management from Ireland now runs the company & there is too much demand placed on team members without any increase in compensation. Don’t get sick or hurt on the job, there are no sick days, overtime, paid holidays, etc. their compensation package is below national averages.

Pros

It is good for maturing you and helps everyone with communication and social skills. If you show interest you can progress within the company learning about the retail business and leaning management skills on the job.

Cons

Working conditions in the site I worked in did not have anywhere to eat lunch, it had a microwave which was placed on the floor. It did not have any seats most people ended up having lunch while sitting on stock in the stock room. The pay is minimum wage with no increase, even if you have been there for years and do a lot of management work.
