There's no benefits of working for Applegreen

Cons

Been with this company over a year and trust me unless your stuck for money do not work here. Most companies offer a pay rise after 6 months, after one year of loyal service and hard work applegreen don't offer a pay rise but instead make you redo your training. They don't avail of the cycle to work scheme and don't care about their employees at a sales assistant level. Your no more than a number. Pay is always dodgy too.

Managers don’t really care about you/listen to you they just pretend they do so they can keep you working for them on a minimum wage You’re always expected to work late and not always be payed for the extra hours They try and get you to quit so they won’t have to sack you themselves Usually understaffed

Pros

In my case, lots of hours so you can accumulate money quickly in just a few days. The customers were always nice too.

Cons

Poor management, they disrespect the people of the city, saying we’re lazy. Sometimes only one person is on and management wants you to do everything. Layout of our store terrible. Don’t call the help desk if problems occur because you will be on hold for hours. Upper management spies on you 24/7 with the cameras so don’t even think of sitting for a moment. Management doesn’t train you, fellow employees will and sense our store was a brand new store, no one knows exactly everything. High employee turnover rate because of said reasons.
