Friendly people to work with At least it's some sort of income

Cons

Lazy managers No employee benefits Staff treated like slaves Staff turn over is not normal easily a new member of staff every 2 weeks Minimum wage Very demanding work Management leave you to do everything with very little help Horrible working hours, sometimes 16 hour shifts and you have to buy all your meals in work with no discount because you work through every meal time

Pros

The co-workers are friendly. Shift work that can allow you to tailor your week to appointments. Double pay on bank holidays.

Cons

Extremely demanding work for minimum wage. No one recieved HACCP training in bakewell department. Understaffed for the work load demanded. Have not recieved wage slip in 4 months. Long hours. Management from head office degrade you in front of co workers. You can sometimes be expected to work till 9.30pm and back in at 5.00am. I am not a disgruntled employee, I have 5 years previous food experience which is why I find this company's policy's and treatment of staff shocking.

Yearly bonus, you can grow internally, gain a lot of experience, head office is small so you get to learn about each and every department.

Cons

The Turn over of staff at site level is very high and also evident in head office, you need to motivate yourself because management do not.
