Truly a great place to work

Pros

As you've probably read in other reviews, ArcTouch has a great company culture. Along with the jeans wearing, Sonos listening environment, ArcTouch has a lot of cool perks. We get lunch catered on Tuesdays (occasionally replaced by chair massages), have thirsty Thursday and WFH Friday's, every Friday. The people at this company are very easy to work with, everyone is truly on the same team. Along with great perks the management team has a sincere approach to helping employees build a career and grow within ArcTouch.

Cons

The office location is far for those commuting on Bart and parking is expensive in nearby lots.

A nice company going through challenging times

Pros

Friendly environment , most of the co-workers are very competent and kind. Some nice benefits like free food at the office and free parking.

Cons

The overall team morale and chemistry is low due to some upper management decision. There is a latent but strong movement against the new hierarchical roles and the feeling that the new employees and the upper management are , in a sense, destroying the companies culture and slowing turning the company into a regular company. The new office is poorly located and hard to reach by bus, depending on where you are going you have to walk and cross the road to get a bus in the other side. This is specially hard for women since the neighbourhood is not very friendly. It is said that you can work at multiples projects over the course of a year, but it is very common to get stuck in a project, since the project pool is very limited. Of course you can ask to change projects, and you will probably have your request accepted if you do. However, since the project pool is very limited it might mean that you will have no project to work on, which is not something desirable.

Pros

There are many great employees that work there and have alot of talent. All people are very dedicated because they want to do good work and build reputation.

Cons

Employees are not allowed to reach their potential. Teams micro managed by upper management. CEO is irrational with big ego and not know how to run a company. Company growth is restricted. A joke at company is CEO swoops and poops on everything and causes much stress, frustration and un-necessary fire drills with employees
