      Pros

      Great opportunity to practice journalism in the commodity markets. the work is interesting and colleagues are generally smart and interesting. good opportunities to work with global team in other offices.

      Cons

      The company has gone through a lot of change in the last couple of years and has some growing pains like communication and new management. but overall things seem to be improving and becoming more and more modern and progressive.

      Pros

      There are some very talented people in editorial and some good managers. Managers have more integrity than at other places of work I have been at, and this also goes for senior leadership. Pay is good and you will get rewarded if you become an institution for your sector. Argus finally saw sense and introduced a flexible working policy, having been strictly against working from home before Covid. Salary increments were OK prior to Covid. Senior leaders are trying to take the company to the next level and hierarchies are less flat than they used to be, but are still ok. Some of the organisation has been tidied up over the past years. I

      Cons

      There are some individuals that unintentionally serve as bottlenecks (read: are incompetent). Sometimes these are people who are responsible for whole business units, hindering transformation of parts of the company. There are business units that cannot compete with the industry leaders for these reasons, as they lack experience and understanding of what 'work to the highest quality' means. Benefits are poor and not competitive.
