Pros

My location was of a moderate size but was updated to include White Barn within a month of my hiring - They care for great customer service. - Great pay for work And that’s it...

Cons

Not enough hours—I was promised more hours when we moved to the larger store. Did not happened. In fact, I had much more of a consistent schedule in the older location than now. And their new favorite hobby? Not scheduling me AT ALL. And when I do get scheduled, management loves to ”give me the day off.” If you're not busy enough to justify having enough people on the floor, that fine. But, when I went on for my first shift in weeks I was flabbergasted that they had hired an army who were getting CONSISTENT HOURS. Now, I don't know if it is a man issue, an LGBT+ issue, or if it's plain old racism, but don't bother with this company. Now that I put in more thought it might be a man thing I was one out of two men working at that location, but the training was geared toward women...

Pros

You get very small free samples

Cons

The training was horrible. My manager did not take the time to help me. When I was thrown to the wolves(customers) they constantly tell me I’m failing so in return id ask for help and they would blatantly ignore me.

Pros

The products are great. You can get occasional gratis and the uniform is cute. They are lenient with tattoos, piercings, and colored hair. Pay was good.

Cons

My first day on the floor, I got thrown into the front of the store with about 10 minutes of training prior. It was chaotic and I was expected to reach a sales goal and direct people to what they were looking for, even though it was my very first day and I didn't even know what all the products were! The headset was distracting and interrupted my conversations with customers. My first shift was 3 hours, and about 30 minutes of it was spent filling out paperwork. So I only spent about 2 1/2 hours on the floor. Right before my shift ended, my manager came up to me and said there were not enough sales with my name assigned, and asked how I was going to fix it. I found it very rude considering it was my first day, my first shift, I had minimal training, and I wasn't even fully aquatinted with the product to be able to help people in the first place! All management seems to care about is sales, not the customers or employees.
