Pros

Every tool that you might need to do your job is right there in the store. The company is very dedicated to learning and development and helping you succeed. Very very generous associate discount and gratis as well as compnay organized contests and rewards. The company cares about what is happening out in the stores.

Cons

Last minute changes can often disrupt personal plans. Floor changes on holidays and special days makes it difficult for some associates.

Pros

Great and employee discount, free products and a friendly environment

Cons

Where do I begin: the hours are ridiculous, for the holidays they over work you with 10 hour work days no breaks while management makes sure they get their hour long break. Then during down time you barely get hours and they end up cutting the ones that you have. Management harasses you everyday about what you've learned from the chat in even though its the same message every single day. The pay is sad with no type of benefits yet be work full time hours at whenever they need us to. There is no break room we eat next to boxes. They expect us to make our part time job a full time commitment putting aside our lives for minimum wage. They expect us to make the customers day but the employees are overworked harassed by management and treated as inferiors. There is also no consistency when it comes to procedures and regulations, they ask for one thing of you one week and then they forget about it the next week. Employee of the week is unfair because half the employees don't work in a week and then someone can come in for one day and be employee of the week while someone hasbeen working there for the whole week and doesnt get recognized.

Pros

The 30% BBW and 20% VS discount. Working with peers, people you can relate to and become good friends with. Gratis. (Free stuff)

Cons

Managers and CSL's get away with EVERYTHING. One night, the CSL sat in the back all night and I was the only one on the floor, made the segment all by myself in 40 minutes, and all she said was "I owe you starbucks". (Which I never got) Call ins (Usually the only hours you get, unless you are a favorite) For all the hassling of customers and pushing we do, there should be some sort of commission or incentives for associates. LOW pay. Minimum wage. For me, no hours during the week (except maybe a call in) and then my Saturdays have one long shift, and friday and Sunday, both call ins. Going to school during the week, this really makes me have NO life what so ever. FLOORSETS!!!! Always scheduled til 12, never leave before 2 am. On Sundays. Even if you don't have "overnight" availability.
