Pros

Working with people who liked the products and wanted the company to succeed, along with making sure issues were handled for players of the games where possible. Relaxed atmosphere, even when working from home,

Cons

Underappreciated, overlooked by company upper management. Scope of role changes over the years felt more like moving goal posts as well as keeping costs down by folding jobs into singular titles. Easy to get stuck in a rut. Few opportunities for advancement, especially outside of the US.

Pros

The talent at Blizzard is unmatched.

Cons

Folks are consistently underpaid for their roles, and many have to “boomerang” outside the company to get the titles and salaries they actually deserve.
