Pros

Extremely talented and passionate people Amazing brand of IPs/games to work on Beautiful campus in Irvine, CA

Cons

Blizzard has no agency, has to ask for approval for everything from Activision Complete lack of clear communications around vision and company changes Doesn't actually make change, just communicates they will improve "in the future" No transparency - and gave lowest raises in history during a pandemic - a year in which Activision made record profits (again)

Pros

You work for Blizzard, and everyone wants to work there.

Cons

Get paid way under industry standard and can only get promoted if you’re friends with someone.

Pros

- we work in video games, a more fun industry than others - like minded people - basically has turned into what a normal workplace would be including its regular challenges

Cons

- deeply rooted "old-school" mentality - recent organizational changes lowered company morale - old blizzard was considered 'magical', turning into a more corporate work structure lowering the innate spark of employees
