It's a flexible schedule so long as you overlap with China
Pros
You can work a schedule that works for you. If you need to work from home to handle personal things, it's accommodated without too much notice ahead of time.
Cons
The union will continue to ruin the company. The flexible schedule is 100% dependent on the teams in China. This means you can work all day without realizing it and you are expected to not do too much OT even though at the end of the day you may be sitting on 9.5 hours once or twice a week. Even if more money is nice, I'd rather have a set end time so I can have actual work life balance. Lack of diversity is another issue. I don't know the percentage, but it seems Blizzard hires more Asian and White people. Maybe that's due to Irvine being mostly Asian and White. If Blizzard really wants diversity, they need to pay more so that it's worth it for people to come from other cities or be able to afford to live in Irvine and surrounding areas.
