Pros

Good advancement oportunities specially for those who would go out for a smoke with the right people. Friendly atmosphere, mostly

Cons

Has become too corporate minded. Used to be a nice family. Some of the managers are as good as the furniture.

Good Employer, below average pay

Pros

Great products, passionate people, cool statues

Cons

Lower than average pay. They try to make it sound better by giving you a "total compensation" letter that adds the $ value of your insurance benefits etc, as well as t-shirts and virtual currency that you can only spend on Blizzard games... As if other companies don't also give insurance benefits and profit sharing. They want you to compare your "total compensation" to other companies' base salaries to try spinning it as a positive. Also, there's no clear path to career advancement other than to be good friends with management. The official line is "you'll get the title if you are already doing the job". But there's no clear outline what that means... It's just sort of a "we'll know it when we see it" kind of thing.

Awful CS experience

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Co-workers in the Customer Service department are amazing, health benefits are good (but you do pay for them every paycheck), encouragement to be yourself and express your personality.

Cons

Low pay based on other CS jobs in the area, minimal communication from Irvine office to Austin Office, very little room for promotion, intense demands for metrics, tools used to perform the job are unstable.
