Pros

Nice campus, phenomenal people, passionate gamers who live the values of old

Cons

Profit driven, con artists with leadership that matches. There was no vision, direction or hospitality from leadership. Every communication (through the pandemic and MS merger) was performative and completely missed the mark when it came to addressing employees concerns. The leadership I experienced on my project was nothing short of the epitome of failing upwards. People who made it to senior leadership not because they were good leaders, but because they wanted it, make up a lot of the leadership. Coaching wasn't an option, feedback was never truly available. The performance reviews were an opportunity for them to share feedback and they took it as an opportunity to stab you in the back to make sure you didn't get the promotion or raise. When leadership actively sabotages people from transferring roles to another project, you know you're in with bad people and horrible managers.
