The company cares about you and seems generally interested in your well-being and development. Work-life balance is really prioritized, and the work is some of the most interesting and fulfilling I’ve done.

Cons

The workflow is uncertain, and you can be thrown into contracting limbo. You have to act on your own initiative to stay reliably working and make contacts within the firm.

Was great until remote work was revoked

None now. I was laid off. Used to be remote and a lot of flexibility for working hours in regard to appointments etc. That all changed when some fool decided remote work should stop. Then our happy team was miserable. Then lay offs happened thanks to the imbecile in the oval office. A once happy job (albeit not paying a living wage) turned into misery.

Cons

Everything. FIGHT FOR REMOTE WORK! No one should be forced to work in office when the work can easily and productively be done from home. And, yes, we were more productive that way.
